Red and Blue Gala

The University of Toronto Chapter of Love146 is proud to announce that the 2020 Red and Blue Gala was a tremendous success! Not only did we sell out our venue, but we raised close to $2000 for this charitable cause! We would also like to thank our performers, Sharon Lee, Brandan Anthony and the DJ for keeping spirits high and providing amazing entertainment so that we could dance and socialize. Last but not least, we would like to thank all of our attendees and Alpha Sigma Phi for the support you’ve shown us, we couldn’t have pulled it off without you! Here are some of our favourite moments captured by PhotoB, we can’t wait to see you next year!

In collaboration with the Woodsworth College Student’s Association (WCSA), LOVE146- University of Toronto Chapter hosted our annual Red and Blue Gala in honor of the many victims and survivors of human trafficking. This fundraiser brought students and local community members together for a night of food, pictures, dancing, and socializing in our efforts to raise funds and awareness of human trafficking around the world. We would love to thank everyone who attended and support our cause the past year! Here are some highlights to our event in 2019!

LOVE-146 successfully held our annual semi-formal in 2016 in collaboration with the New College Student Council (NCSC). This year’s theme had been red and blue. Red in order to parallel the Red Gala held by our parent organization and blue to represent the University of Toronto. Prizes such as Raptor’s tickets, Starbucks Goodies, CN Tower tickets and a Swarovski necklace had been raffled. Through the support of the student body, we had raised approximately $900.
